The 2016 SEAOC Convention venue and host hotel is the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa, located on Ka’anapali Beach. Surrounded by 40 acres of landscaped ocean front, the Resort offers breathtaking views and pure Hawaiian relaxation. Scuba diving, hula demonstrations, lei making classes, tennis, and a world class spa are only some of the resort’s many offerings.
A true resort is a vacation paradise where you can relax and indulge while attending the convention. The convention committee encourages all attendees to bring their families for a getaway vacation. The Hyatt has activities for kids, including a water slide, tennis, basketball, lei making, onsite wild life tour, and Camp Hyatt. Camp Hyatt is a interactive programs for your kids to explore the flora, fauna, culture, and geography of Maui.

The Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa is located approximately 27 miles from the Kahului Airport. To get to the resort, take Highway 380 to Highway 30. Once you get to the coast, continue on the Honoapi’ilani Highway through Lahaina to the entrance of Ka’anapali Beach. Turn left onto Ka’anapali Parkway to Nohea Kai Drive. The Hyatt Resort is located at the south end of Nohea Kai Drive.
The following ground transportation options are available to get to and from the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa:
SpeediShuttle – Shuttle service is available at the airport. After you have gathered your luggage, please check in at the desk located in baggage claim across from carousel 4. Once all guests have collected their luggage and checked in, greeters will direct you to your shuttle, located curbside, outside of baggage claim.
Arthur’s Limousine – Arrive at the convention in style with chauffeur service. Private sedans, SUV’s and limousines are available.
Taxi – Taxi service is available at the airport in the baggage claim area. Cost is approximately $88.00 (up to four people with luggage).
Uber – Uber service is available in Maui.
